Overview The Gr8stuff software is a powerful and easy to use application for developing and maintaining websites. Designed for use with the Gr8stuff.co.za service, it integrates seamlessly with the server allowing you to publish your websites, maintain up to date contact information and have your sites automaticaly cataloged in our search engine. All of this is designed to be done offline. You need only connect to the internet briefly to publish your site, to do a live update and to answer simple questions when creating a new website. We normally do the initial web site development using Gr8stuff and, after it has been published to the internet, you then use the Gr8stuff software to make changes as you require them, or to add additional web pages to your site. Alternatively we can quote you on any changes you require. Cell Phone Integration Your cell phone is the key to using this service and for performing certain functions. You must first register your cell phone before you can login and maintain websites that get connected to your phone. People browsing your sites on the internet will generate certain SMS messages when they wish to make contact with you, make bookings, view properties, place orders and perform other similar transactions. You will also use your cell phone to get information (such as your password). All this integration is handled automatically for you. Maintaining your Websites A powerful editor allows you to change any of the pages in your website and to add your specific content. The editor is a WSYWIG (what you see is what you get) editor making it very easy and fast to use. You can also create new pages, change the layout and style of your site and even directly edit HTML code if you wish. Publishing Built in publishing software helps you to publish your website to the internet so that it is accessible to the world. Once published, the Gr8stuff servers will automatically create entries in the various categories and link marketing sites to yours so that you get business. Integrated Tools This software also helps you manage your prepaid account by showing you all the transactions that have taken place on all websites linked to your account and instructing you how to purchase credits. A Live Update facility keeps your information synchronised with the server and automatically downloads any software updates. |
